Water is one of the essential elements of life! It brings us happiness, relaxation and life itself! One of the most important providers of water on the planet is the rain! It helps the plants grow, it gives us a refreshing feeling and it’s the Earth’s caressing moment especially after the sun dries and warms everything under.
The rainy season or Monsoon (word coming from Portuguese) is that moment of the year that lasts for about a month (and sometimes even more) when the rain seems to conquer a land and own it pouring water from the sky for days on and on. Although it might not be very pleasant for all the humans, it is a period of rebirth for the nature. The rainy season is most commonly met in the tropics and subtropics, but there are also a lot of lands that see a lot of rain during spring or fall.
